The Slotted Fence Post Foot is a strong galvanised Jakpost® accessory designed to allow a standard intermediate slotted Jakpost® to be installed securely onto a hard surface such as concrete. It provides a practical solution where traditional post installation is not suitable, while keeping most of the bracket and fixings concealed once compatible fence panels are installed into the post slots.

The galvanised foot is supplied complete with screws for attaching it securely to the standard slotted Jakpost®. It is designed specifically for standard intermediate posts and should not be used with heavy duty slotted Jakposts®.

When using the Slotted Jakpost® foot, the post may need to be cut to the required length. The cut-down post should be treated with Jakcure® cut treatment, with the cut end positioned at the top of the post. The gravel board may also need to be slightly notched around the baseplate and treated with Jakcure® cut treatment so that it can sit flush with the ground.

The product is intended to make certain installations easier and can save installation time; however, every site and application is unique and suitability should be assessed for the specific installation. The choice of appropriate fixings and the structural integrity of the surface remain the responsibility of the installer, as installation performance may be affected by factors such as wind loads, weathering and external forces.
