What is linear or channel drainage?
Linear drainage is also known as Channel or trench drainage. The system of drainage which drains along the entire length, rather than one specific point is known as linear drainage. The trench used for channel drainage is not that deep so it is easy to install in places with complex and unknown underground services and utilities.
Channel drainage offers an easy installation, low-cost and elegant look and lowers the price of underground installation of pipework.
What is grating in linear drainage?
Grating is a covering to a channel. The length of the grating is usually one which fits the accompanying channel. The load class of grating and channel is the same as mentioned in the chart below.
