Product Information

Our wooden beam chandeliers are designed and handcrafted in our Devon Studio. Each lighting fixture is individual, designed to fit your space and enhance your interior. Our made to measure service ensures your chandelier fits perfectly with minimal adjustments needed.

 

Our Crafted Oak Chandelier is made using oak in a squared shape. Our current oak stock is from Plymouth dry docks and has lovely greys and blacks running through it from the sea water. We also have some rustic pieces of oak - please get in touch with us and we can send you photos of the current oak in stock.

Each of our designs are made to order. Please check our current lead time before placing your order.

Colour Choices: Cables, Components and Timber finish.

You choose the exact piece of timber that we use for your fixture. We will send you photos and videos for your approval. We can stain the timber, and have a a range of stains available. If you would like to tone in with current furniture please send us photos of your home (in daylight with no direct sun) so that we can choose the best match. We will then do colour tests on the top of your chosen timber and send you photographs and video for your approval. You also choose the cable colours - we have over 200 choices of Italian fabric covered cable, and component style and colour - from modern to traditional. We finalise all of these choices with you as part of the design process.

Maximum lengths included in the fixture price:

50cm from the top of the timber to the ceiling, and 50cm of cable drop below the fixture is included in the price.

50cm chain + 10cm timber depth + 50cm cable + bulb length = max drop

Should you need a longer drop, please get in touch for a custom quote. Additional chain is priced at £15 per m, and cable £6 per m.

Bulbs

Bulbs are not included as they vary in price depending on the size, shape and colour that you choose. We would be happy to try different bulbs in the finished fixture and send you photos before you make your final decision.

Lead time/shipping

This design is made to measure, we will be in touch as soon as you place your order to work out the finer details such as cable and component colours. Our lead time varies depending how busy we are, if you have a time constraint, please check our current lead time on our client area page before placing your order.

From the client area you will see how many orders we have in progress and updates on lead times. When we receive your order, you will be added to the client queue, and you will be able to check back and see progress of your order.

We know that our lead time is quite long and we understand that you may be having work done now, or in the near future. Therefore, to save time, and also the cost of having your electrician back, we can send in advance a hanging kit which includes your ceiling hooks, screws, ceiling cap with pre-wired small three pin connector plug with the drawing of your fixture for your builder/electrician to install in advance. That way, when your fixture arrives, it is simply a case of hanging and plugging in (we will have made sure that there is space in the top of the timber to hide the plug, so the view from below will still be seamless). This also makes it easy to take down your fixture for cleaning in the future. 

Measurements:

We will need some measurements from you to design and make your fixture.

  • Ceiling height
  • Dimensions of the furniture below the fixture, or tell us if it needs to clear head height.
  • Height of the tallest person in the house.

We can then draw a scale plan for you to agree before we begin wiring your fixture.

Can I cancel or amend my order after placing it?

Yes, if your order has not yet been processed for dispatch, cancellation/ amendments should be possible.

Our team works quickly to get your order delivered as soon as possible so it is likely that your order will be processed for dispatch within 2-3 hours of purchase.

What is your returns policy?

Changed your mind about your order? no problem! we offer a 14 day returns period after your order is delivered.

To avail of this your order must be unused, in its original packaging, and suitable for resale.

Refunds are issued immediately after the goods are received and inspected by our team.

If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Prior approval is needed before returning any goods – do not return without authorization.

Special order items are exempt from returns.
