    Thermal Anti-Condensation Paint with Built-In Mould Resistance

    Kingfisher Thermapaint Anti-Mould is a dual-purpose emulsion paint formulated to reduce condensation and prevent the growth of black spot mould on interior walls and ceilings. Using micro-bead vacuum technology, it raises surface temperature to help minimise moisture buildup while an integrated fungicidal film actively protects against mould regrowth.

    Ideal for areas prone to condensation such as bathrooms, kitchens, and bedrooms—especially in homes with poor insulation—this breathable matt paint improves air quality, enhances surface warmth, and offers a longer-lasting decorative finish.

    Product Details & Coverage

    • Finish: Matt emulsion
    • Coverage: 4–6 m² per litre per coat (2 coats recommended)
    • Drying Time: 1–2 hours touch dry; recoat after 2–4 hours
    • Application Temperature: +10 °C to +25 °C (air and surface)
    • Service Temperature: 4 °C to +50 °C
    • VOC Content: Max 10 g/l (EU limit: 30 g/l)
    • Sizes Available: 2.5L, 5L, 10L

    Application Instructions

    1. Clean & Treat: Remove existing mould with Kingfisher Mould Cure. Allow to dry completely.
    2. Surface Prep: Fill any cracks or defects. Seal powdery areas with Kingfisher Floor & Wall Seal.
    3. Prime (if needed): New or bare surfaces should be primed with a thinned coat of Classic Emulsion (5:1 paint to water).
    4. Apply Paint: Stir thoroughly. Apply two coats with a brush or roller, allowing 2–4 hours between coats.

    Limitations & Safety

    • Internal use only—do not apply to heated surfaces like radiators
    • Ensure adequate ventilation during application
    • Store in a cool, dry place and protect from frost
    • Do not apply in damp or humid conditions
