Ballast sand is a mixture of sharp sand and gravel commonly used in mixing coarse concrete. Can also be used in bedding drainage pipes and as a sub base.
Can be used for foundations for garden walls, concreting in fence posts and making paths. Ready for use in path or patio base construction. Is also suitable for mixing with cement for DIY projects. Produces a coarse concrete mix when mixed with cement.
