Celotex GA4050 is an easy-to-install, multi purpose insulation board.

This insulation board has many uses, thanks to its low emissivity foil it can be considered in many applications that require insulating roofs, floors, and walls.

GA 4050 is a general application insulation board available in different thicknesses ranging from 50mm to 100mm..

Celotex GA4050 is able to achieve improved thermal insulation performance with minimum thickness whilst offering great thermal conductivity, increasing insulation and reducing possible heating or cooling costs.

Celotex GA4050 can be used to provide thermal insulation solutions in a wide range of applications such as when insulating floors, roofs, walls, flat roofs, pitched roofs, metal frame systems and steel framed systems, floor systems, and even masonry walls.

Celotex insulation boards are manufactured using a blowing agent that has zero ozone depletion potential and low GWP (global warming potential) making it an eco and green-friendly solution in construction.

Celotex PIR insulation boards are specifically designed to offer the same efficiency over many years which over time helps unnecessary usage of bills on heating and cooling.

Celotex Cavity Wall 100mm: This insulation board is designed specifically for cavity wall applications, providing excellent thermal performance. It can help enhance the energy efficiency of your building.

Celotex Cavity Wall 85mm: Another option for cavity wall insulation, this board offers great thermal conductivity properties. It helps to minimize heat loss and can contribute to reducing energy consumption.

Celotex Cavity Wall 40mm: This insulation board is suitable for cavity wall applications where a thinner profile is required. It still provides effective thermal insulation while saving space.

Celotex Cavity Wall 47mm: A slightly thicker option than the 40mm variant, this board offers enhanced thermal performance while maintaining a slim profile. It is suitable for various cavity wall constructions.

Celotex 20mm TB4020 2.4m x 1.2m: This insulation board is designed for general applications where a thinner insulation layer is required. It provides thermal efficiency while minimizing the overall thickness of the insulation system.

Celotex PL4000 37.5mm: This insulation board combines high-performance insulation with a plasterboard finish. It is ideal for internal solid wall insulation, offering both thermal insulation and a smooth, ready-to-paint surface.

100mm Celotex GA4100 2.4m x 1.2m: If you require thicker insulation, this board provides excellent thermal performance and is suitable for a range of applications, including roofs, walls, and floors.

Celotex Cavity Wall 75mm: This insulation board offers a balance between thickness and thermal performance, making it suitable for cavity wall constructions that require a moderate insulation layer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is 50mm insulation enough?

With 50mm of insulation, you can provide a good level of thermal insulation for most applications. To be sure that 50mm is enough, you should calculate the U-value of the entire structure (not just the board in isolation). It is important to reduce cold spots and thermal bridging to get the best insulation value.

What's the U value of 50mm Celotex?

The U-value for a 2.4m x 1.2m sheet of celotex ga4050 50mm insulation is 0.022 W/m² K

How thick should Celotex be?

As a general rule, choose a general application insulation board that is as thick as you can afford and that space allows. Celotex is available in all sizes from 25mm up to 200mm

What is the difference between Celotex and polystyrene?

Celotex PIR insulation boards are more than just polystyrene. They are made from completely different materials. PIR offers far better insulating performance for the same thickness of board. They are manufactured using a blowing agent that has zero ozone depletion potential and low GWP (global warming potential) making it an eco friendly solution in construction.
