When central heating is the type of heat source you’re looking for, a 400mm x 1800mm radiator from Trade Radiators is perfect for placing in any room. Not only will it deliver powerful heat, but its short height can also easily fit angled walls and corners, leaving plenty of wall space for art and other decorations. Compare this to more traditional radiators that may be wide but stand tall enough to take up a lot of your wall space.

Panel Radiators

A radiator is the perfect way to keep your home toasty and warm during those cold days. Depending on your living space, you will likely need different sized radiators. You may want a single flat panel or a double convector radiator, with options ranging from traditional white to more contemporary items. When looking for the best style of radiator to fit your needs, make sure you consider factors such as the size of the building, number of people inhabiting it and the overall heat requirements.

Single Convector

Single convector radiators are the ideal choice for small spaces that don't require a lot of heat. Requiring only one panel, these radiators are typically known as Type 11 and back directly against the wall. Compared to a double panel radiator, single convector radiators have less surface area to emit and transfer heat which is why they are more suitable for smaller, localized rooms where more intense warmth and energy efficiency is desired.

Double Convector

Most central heating systems feature type 22 radiators AKA double panel radiators. The extra panel at the back is the major difference between a single and double, as it is fitted with double convector fins to increase the surface area, thus generating more heat. This makes sure that every corner of your home or office space reaches an even temperature. It's worth noting that these units are larger than other types at 115mm in height for one branch and 128mm for two branches; this makes them easier to clean - no need for specialized equipment! With all these features combined, double panel radiators are a great central heating solution.
