When it comes to choosing the type of timber you need, C24 can be used for the same applications as C16 but is also more suited to outdoor uses. This is because it is grown from slower-growing trees, which results in a denser wood ideal for outdoor decking, shed bases, posts, sleepers, and wider roof spans.
