How to Properly Install a Towel Radiator

A towel radiator is a must-have in any bathroom. Not only does it provide extra warmth and comfort, but it also gives you a place to hang your towels so they can dry properly. While towel radiators are relatively easy to install, there are a few things you need to know before you get started. In this blog post, We'll walk you through the steps of how to properly install a towel radiator.

Step 1: Choose the Right Location

The first step in installing a towel radiator is to choose the right location. You'll want to find a spot that is close to an existing water line and that has enough space to accommodate the towel radiator. Once you've found the perfect spot, mark the location of the mounting holes with a pencil.

Step 2: Drill Holes for the Mounting Brackets

The next step is to drill holes for the mounting brackets. Using a drill bit that is slightly smaller than the screws you will be using, drill pilot holes into the marked locations. Be careful not to drill too deep, as you don't want to damage the water lines.

Step 3: Attach the Mounting Brackets

Once the pilot holes have been drilled, it's time to attach the mounting brackets. Using screws that are appropriate for the type of wall you're working with, screw the brackets into place. If you're unsure what type of screw to use, consult a hardware store worker for assistance.

Step 4: Hang the Towel Radiator

Now it's time to hang the towel radiator on the brackets. Carefully lift the radiator and align the bracket holes with the holes on the radiator. Once everything is lined up, insert bolts or screws and tighten them down. Be careful not over-tighten, as this could damage the radiator.

Tighten until snug but no further! And that's it! Now you know how to properly install a towel radiator. Just follow these simple steps and you'll have your new towel warmer up and running in no time.

[Tip: if you're having trouble getting your towel radiator hung straight, try using a level.]
