Product Information
Prostop's heavy-duty woven recycled weed control fabric permits air to penetrate and water to drain despite being resistant to tear and puncture. Weed control fabrics, also known as sheets, covers, or weed suppressing membranes, are amongst the best permanent solutions to weed problems. These Weed control fabrics effectively become a barrier to weed, are organic, and easy on the environment! This revolutionary new method of weed control is practical, comfortable, and clean too.
The high strength 100gsm woven polypropylene fabric can bear pedestrian and car traffic, making it the perfect for use under driveways, gravel paths, decking, and diverse outdoor areas prone to weeds. It is also safe to use weed control fabric in gardens.
These are delivered as a roll, the easiest way to fit and set is to cut and place the surface. You can use a razor-sharp pair of scissors to cut the fabric, always ensuring that you allow an inch overlap where the cut ends meet, for better coverage. The weed fabric can go right onto the ground or over the sub-base to provide a firm foundation for paths or slab. Prostop’s weed fabric needs to be laid on a surface which will not puncture the material when the uppermost level is applied to it.

Handling
To lay the fabric around existing plants:
- Cut a slit into the material from the nearest corner and thrust it into place around the plant's main stem.
- Dig a bigger hole if required to ensure no pressure on the plant.
To add plants after laying the fabric:
- Taking a sharp craft knife, cut a large enough 'X' into the fabric on each place to fit in plants.
- Tuck the tails back and drill a hole employing a hand trowel.
