Our cylinder jackets comprise of four natural cotton panels filled with pure new sheep’s wool, two securing straps and a tie cord. The panels are pre-fitted with brass eyelets to ease installation and ensure a tight fit.

So install an Eco-Economiser in your hot press and save energy, save money and reduce your impact on the environment.

Introductory Statistics On EU Energy Consumption

  • In Europe 40% of our entire energy use is consumed in buildings, more than by industry or transport
  • On average almost 60% of energy used in our homes is for space heating. For all other buildings the average is almost 55%
  • (Source & further information available from EU-DG Energy & Transport)

Key Points

  • The combination of crimped wool fibres and our production process, means that Sheep Wool Insulation is the highest performing fibrous insulation available
  • Natural wool fibres are safe to touch and to live with. As such, there is no concern for the health of the installer or the occupants of the building
  • Wool is a hygroscopic material, which means it can “breathe”. This breathing effect is very desirable in construction as it helps to regulate the moisture balance within a building. Unlike many other materials, the insulation performance of wool does not deteriorate in moist climates
  • Wool is a versatile and flexible fibre, meaning it can be used in a number of applications right throughout a building. These include insulating attics, roofs, walls and floors, for heat and sound and also insulating pipes, ducting and water tanks
