Danosa Danofelt is a non-woven geotextile formed by polypropylene threads, interwoven by needling, without the need or application of chemical binders. It has excellent mechanical and hydraulic behavior. Nonwoven polypropylene geotextiles are used primarily for separation, filtration, and drainage applications. They are typically installed between different layers of soil or other materials to prevent them from mixing together and to improve drainage.

Scope

  • As a separating layer, avoiding contact between layers of different nature, preventing their mixing and guaranteeing the maintenance of their initial performance.
  • Protection of the waterproofing, it provides adequate mechanical resistance to prevent perforation and abrasive wear of the waterproofing membranes. Uses: flat roofs, hydrostatic pressure screeds, etc.

Advantages & Benefits

  • High resistance to static and dynamic piercing.
  • Prevents conflict or bonding between two different materials.
  • Long life expectancy.
  • High resistance to chemical and biological elements in the soil
  • It maintains the mechanical and hydraulic properties of the materials it separates intact.
  • Allows for adaptation to any type of geometry.
  • Protects waterproofing sheets from pressure and tensions caused by edges and sharp objects of the support.
