How do you fit them?
The composite balustrade kits are a fantastic way to add an elegant touch of style and contrast to your decking. With these, you can build up the size that best fits what type of material is used on it as well.
It is recommended that you wear protective gloves during the installation process for additional safety measures. Follow the steps given below to install a new balustrade kit for your home project.
To ensure that your steel post mounts are in the right place, measure them without fixing first. If they fall over when you aren't supporting it with anything else then use bottom rails to check measurements and spacing is correct. Take care not to allow these posts to touch the ground or be otherwise unstable because if this happens one side might bend causing an issue during installation-which would make things very difficult.
After this, slide one steel spacer plate, with the 4 lugs facing upwards, over each post mount until it rests on the weld near the bottom area.
Once you’ve added the post skirting trim, slide posts over each stainless steel posts mount. Make sure these are correctly positioned and attach with screws to ensure they stay in place for years of use.
Fit the bottom rails into their designated spots, then lower them down with some help from your friend who's got all of those posts vertical. It will make life easier for you if one post is lifted over an extra plate so that it can be moved more freely.
When base rails are placed rightly, you can insert spindles after and add top rails to the top of spindles.
After this, insert second spacer plate into each post mount and let it rest above the top rails. Screw both holes in the spacer plate to secure the position of the top rail.
Use Glue and silicone on your post caps to keep them clean! If you need help removing stubborn marks, use white spirit or a light uPVC cream cleaner.

Is composite deck railing worth it?
If you love the look of wood but don’t want the work, composite is a great option. They are made of similar material, with the same look and feel.
Composite deck railings have their own pros and cons, as do all deck railings before you start your project.
The most significant advantage of composite decking is that it's easy to maintain. It requires little work because you can just sweep or vacuum up any dirt on top, and then apply a paint mixture once per year if needed!
The pros include nice-looking features like matching rails with parts below them plus the low cost for maintenance compared to other materials.
Initial cost and lack of structural strength are the largest cons of composite deck railings.
What are composite handrails?
When it comes to choosing handrails for your home, you want something that is both stylish and functional. Composite handrails are the perfect solution for both indoor and outdoor use. They are durable, easy to install, and low maintenance.
Composite handrails are made from a combination of wood fiber and plastic resin. This makes them resistant to rot, mold, and mildew. They are also impervious to insects, so you won't have to worry about termites or other pests damaging your handrails.

Can you use composite for a deck railing?
Yes!
With a variety of infill options, composite decking and railings can work together to create the perfect design for your home. For example, Trex Transcend pairs well with full glass panels on its own or as part of an additional finish layer when paired with other materials like aluminium framing or composites in between floors below it. You can choose a variety of styles to match your fencing and outdoor objects.

Which is better vinyl or composite railings?
Two of the most common options we deal with are composite and vinyl railings.
Composite railings are a hybrid style railing that usually consists of plastic and wood fibres, making a very solid railing that looks and feels more like much larger railings. They can be more scratch-resistant than some vinyl options and can often come in colors that can closely match your decking.
Vinyl is usually a preformed PVC that is hollow inside but supported with a steel or aluminum frame.
It is true that vinyl railings are generally more cost-effective than their composite counterparts. But, some people think they lack the aesthetically pleasing appearance of the latter and therefore it really comes down to your budget or preference.
